Highway of Legends
Tollowing U.S. Highway 160 and then Colorado 12 from Walsenburg to Trinidad via Cucharas Pass, this byway skirts the Spanish Peaks, legendary for rumors of lost gold mines on their slopes. A spur follows Cordova Pass Road down the Apishapa River.
