The Lariat Loop Byway samples the lower foothills, climbing Lookout Mountain Road from Golden to I-70 west, then heading south through Bergen Park and Evergreen and down Bear Creek to Morrison, before returning to Golden via Red Rocks Park and Dinosaur Ridge.
